Madness - Absolutely (1980)

Briefly..
One of the first ska bands (I think..), in one word, Classic!

Greg.

Bomfunk Mc's - In Stereo (1999)

Yo! Salt sniffers!

I'm sure you remember the nostalgic "Freestyler" by the Bomfunk Mc's, I do not know many information on them, except that they Finnish breakbeat band.
After the second album "Burnin' Sneakers" they kind of disappeared from the world consciousness.
Probably they returned to the underground.
Enjoy the nostalgia attack.

Sonic Boom Six - Arcade Perfect (2007)

This is the 3rd full length album to the ska\punk\hip hop band from Manchester, England.
After few first listening of the album you can notice the he different, not like the previous albums.
In the present album they show theirs mature, to differentiate from the previous albums.
If you lookin' for The Clash\Elvis Costelo\Dizzee Rascal mash, you will find less of him in this album, but it's still a good album.
Enjoy.

Greg, The Toilet Cracker.

Violent Delight - Transsmission (2003)

This band isn't something you hear so often, it's kind of nu metal with punk influences.
There songs lyrics are good, catchy and funny, especial "Parental Guidance", "I Wish I Was a Girl" and "Jump".
They disbanded a year after releasing the album, but in 2007 they decided to try again.
Probably they still trying.
After week or two you can get bored listenin', give it a week off and you will find yourself listenin' again until gettin' bored.

Greg.

A.F.I - The Art Of Drowning (1999)

Yeah,i know that they look like girls...
Well guess what?I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!!
This album is the evolution of horror punk at his best!
Dark lyrics, fast music and great vocals.
There is some slow shit 2 but this shit is so dark it's almost scary!
So the bottom line is that maybe a.f.i sounds like an emo crap right now
but they didn't play that way. They had some kick ass albums back there and
this one is one of them!

Kobi is wachin' you a sleep at night!

Dead poetic - New Medicines (2004)

Hey monkeys!
Just wanted to share this album with you by Dead poetic.
Dead poetic is a christian rock band from Akron/Canton Ohio.
I love the sound of this band and i can't explain why, they just got it and they not afraid of showing it.
Great guitar work and drums even better mixed with soft singing and throatfull screaming.
This is they're second album and in my opinion the best.
That's it. Enjoy
Liro.

The Lawrence Arms Discography

I hate this when I can't decide which album to share with you.
But this time I decided to share whole discography.
Ok! Ok!!
It is not the whole discography I left behind some splits, still it was hard to find all the albums so appreciate!

All right!
What we got here..
The Lawrence Arms, punk rock band from Chicago, formed in 1999, currently signed in Fat Wreck Chords.
The Lawrence Arms music I can described in few word, punk rock straight to the soul.

Greg.

Revolution Mother - Glory Bound (2007)

He's back!
Vallely back and he armed with mic, black leather jacket , words full of rage and with a strange beard.
This is a awesome hardcore punk album.
I think that is album is what hardcore punk is all about, playin' fast and don't give a fuck.
Valley always wrote great lyrics but this time he canal on himself.
Vallely's lyrics complementary the guitarist, Jason Hampton( ex Mike v & The Rats ) with hard distortion and fast solos.
This is Vallely's second band, after few minutes of listnin' you can hear that something changed in Valley.

Hope you will enjoy listnin' this album like I enjoyed

Grishx.

Dag Nasty - Can I Say (1986)

If you love bands like 'Rise Against, Comeback Kid, Strike Anywhere, Set Your Goals' and many more melodic-hardcore bands so you need to hear where it all started.
Dag Nasty touched (not in a sexual way you pervert) almost every melodic-hardcore and
post-hardcore bands that exist today.
Brian Baker of Minor Threat and Bad Religion started this band after Minor Threat broke up
and once again he changed the world with his music.
The music is pure old School hardcore punk and the lyrics are about everything
that bothers those guys (so there is a lot of straight edge in there).
Hope you enjoy it!

Kobik watching liro takin' a pile of poo.

Gray Matter - Take It Back / Food For Thought (1990)

Gray Matter was hardcore punk band from Washington, D.C who formed in the year 1983 and disbanded in 1986' but reformed in 1990 and disbanded again in 1993.
First time I heard their songs when watchin' skate video - Flip: Sorry.
Gray Matter's lyrics very catchy accompanist with driven guitar and great vocals .
It's a great album for skate session, puts you in a old school atmosphere.

Greg.

What We Feel \ Devil Shoot Devil - Split (2007)

First time I'm listenin' Russian hardcore, and to tell you the truth, I like it.
Both band sounds the same but there is a difference at the singin'.
What We Feel - It a batch of good Antifa and HC guys from different cities of European part of Russia that also good friends.
I don't had nothing tho write about the lyrics cuz couldn't understand the singin'.
Devil Shoot Devil - This six-piece band come from Minsk,Belarus.
This is the second split. DSD's lyrics is without any pointless metaphors, they just spitin' to your face.

Greg - It's probably the worst review I ever wrote.

Hour Of The Wolf - Power Of The Wolf (2006)

Lately I'm in a mood for horror so want to share with you this album.
This album is a 8 tracks of rage, horror and good energy mashed in a fast punk rock music.
Too bad that it's only 8 tracks cuz it leaves taste for more.

Greg, watching you through peach flavor smoke.

Driving east - The Future Of The Free World Is Riding On This One (2007)

Hey chumps!
Long time past since my last post, never mind.
This band called ''Driving east'' is a very cool band i recently listened to.
If you looking for pure punk rock with a little bit of pop you've better download this.
In this album you will find melodic singing, very catchy songs and a drummer that doesn't show any signs of slowing down.
So, who's driving east?!
P.s - the voice of singer reminds me the singer of Fall out boy- ignore that :]

Good listening - Liro, watching you from Gaza.

Koffin Kats - Inhumane (2005)

"...Chainsaw running in the dead of the night
Im cutting up some bodies
A dinner delight
I hit them with a hammer, watch them die
Its chainsaw massacre time tonight..."

This band sound like weird mix of Misfits and Elvis Presley in his early years with a crazy bass line.
They mostly sings about blood, zombies, death, guts and other things that you will find in horror movies.
Greg.

59 Times The Pain - End of the Millennium (1999)

To this hardcore punk band from Fagersta, Sweden, I exposed somewhere in 2002, at 8th grade while playin' at Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX.
They been part of the OST of the game, with the song "Got it All in Sight".
59 Times The Pain plays strong, fast, energetic and all this with great melodics.
Greg.

2/1/08

Cock Sparrer - Here We Stand (2007)

Probably the best comeback album I ever heard and their best album since the classic Shock Troops\Running Riot In '84.
Or in other words, they still got it.
Greg.

Lookin' for break something? furnitures? walls? little brothers?
So I'v for you the right soundtrack for all this mess , CiSTm KOnFLiqT by The Mad Capsule Markets.

God Is an Astronaut - Far From Refuge (2007)

Wow! it's really early in the morning but don't ask what I'm doing up...just wanted to share with all of you a very cool chill'out album that would help you to think, good for travailing and sleeping as well.
These guys, ''god is an astronaut'', know how to make a good mood.
Everything is play on real instruments and a littel bit of electronic touch (the way it should be)
So here you go! enjoy.
Liro - need a good sleep.

Refused - The Shape Of Punk To Come (1997)

This is one hell of a classic hardcore album from Refused, four-piece hardcore band from Umeå, Sweden.
What makes this album so special that he got huge doze of hardcore rage, rhythms, political awareness and a lot of experimental sonic atmosphere.
Maybe in first time listenin' you will think that this album ain't got something unique and there is a lot of bands that sounds like Refused, but (there is always a "but") Refused been there first.
Grisha X - The Bumminator.

1/19/08

Circle Jerks - Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities (1995)

Names like Keith Morris (Original Black Flag Vocalist) and Greg Hetson (Bad Religion)
just telling you to hear this album.
This is the last album from the hardcore punk legends from the 80's from their second reunion.
Old school punk in the middle of the 90's and a kick ass rock n' roll touch.
The lyrics are great...The bass lines are awesome but yet simple...Greg Hetson is a guitar genius
and the drums are just the way they need to sound!
So if you into old school shit like me you gotta hear this album!
Enjoy this fuckers - With love Kobik

Lower Definition - Moths (2007)

This band is really really awesome in my opinion. This is they're first up-coming album even due they got only 7 songs in this album every song is really really good. You can hear a lot of echo and dealy effects which i love very much that sometime makes you feel like your floating (Greg next time don't leave crack leftovers on the table...people will think i might be stoned or something).
A lot of distortions and screaming as well combaining with a heartfull singing for the hardcore feeling. Yeeeehaaa!

Good hearing everybody, Liro.

Samiam - You Are Freaking Me Out (1997)

For a long time I am listenin' to this album and I decided to share it with you (how nice am I :P ).
It's a great emo album, real emo not shit like MCR. Some songs on this album reminds me Jawbreaker's style, maybe because of the lyrics. If you like punk rock music with a great lyrics, listen to this album.
C-Ya later - Greg the extreme bummer.

Twenty2 - Defective (2006)

This band is from Montreal, Canada. This is one hell of a record.
Greg worked over time to get this album so appreciate it :]
This band plays melodic hardcore, pretty fast song, good shouting and singing as well and this record is from they're newer stuff despite from the last ones that sounded more popy! (I hate words that you need to say with a british accent)
Check it out.
p.s- Kobbi, if you are reading this- you're a dickhead.
Peace out.
